Topics
Massing (the idea of Voxel), Defining a Voxel (the standard model), Proliferation rules
Instructions
Following the instructions in the previous video that you watched in the forming sections, follow the instructions below to prepare your voxel models.
- Proliferate a module (defined by you) in-between the interlocked MDF section profiles created in CUT.
- Proliferate a module (already existing) in-between the interlocked MDF section profiles created in CUT.
Notes:
- The voxels have to be volumetric, avoid using surfaces
- The size has to be between 0.5mm to 1cm, vary the resolution in relation to your sections. The smaller your voxel the higher the resolution
- You can vary the voxels in color but not in form
- You can vary the voxels in size
- All voxels have to be identical
- Voxels could be edibles, avoid very soft ones
- Avoid voxels that are excessively larger in one dimension than another
Delivery
Submit the Blend exercise (both forming and additive) at 23:59 one day before the next session.
