Instructions

Follow the Introduction to Adobe Illustrator and Digital Cut video tutorial found in the tutorials folder by clicking on this link.

A sample of how you could save your 10 pairs
  1. Select one image from “FILTER” 
  2. Trace your image using Adobe Illustrator. 
  3. Extract 2 shapes from the vector image.
  4. Trace the image again with different properties and extract 2 shapes.
  5. Repeat point 4 to obtain 10 couples.

Delivery:

Please submit the below by 23:59 of the day before the next session.

Blog: 

  • 10 couples of shapes from 10 different trace parameters, solid fill, white background (1 image/couple). Use an A3 format to organize the information: on the left side, place the traced picture; on the right side, on the top left, show the 2 shapes in their original size, in the center the 2 resized shapes. Resize the pictures for the blog (1000×707 72dpi)
